All families and flats are carefully selected and regularly inspected by the accommodations staff on site. Host families have been interviewed and chosen on the basis of safety, cleanliness, and ability to welcome international participants. Accommodation options are well connected by public transport, just a few minutes from the nearest bus stop or underground station. They are generally located close by, 10 to 25 minutes from the Academy.
For privacy and comfort, all rooms provided are single rooms.
*Double rooms are available for two participants jointly applying for the program and studying for the same period and duration.
Placements are made on a first come basis. Early application and enrollment is highly recommended. Accommodation reservations are made as soon as the applications are received. Accommodation placement is confirmed when enrollment is completed and program fees are fully paid.

Accommodation starts on
Sunday prior to the first day of the program, and ends on
Saturday following the last day of the program. For example, a 4 week program starting on Monday, July 3 includes accommodation from Sunday, July 2 to 11am on Saturday, July 29.
Please note accommodation requires a minimum stay of two weeks per calendar month.
OPTIONS
SHARED FLAT
Live in a flat, sharing with others who may be students from the Academy, Italian students or hosts who own the flat. The apartments are furnished, with a kitchen and bathroom shared by the occupants. Each room has a bed, desk and chair, and storage area for clothes and personal belongings. Sheets and towels are provided once a week.
HOST FAMILY

Live in an Italian home and learn about Italian life and culture while improving in the Italian language. Daily contact with your family will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture. Home stay hosts are personally interviewed and selected based on a number of factors, including the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (that they are varied and balanced), and their ability to welcome international guests. The hosts clean towels and bed linen weekly.
Any special requests should be stated clearly on the Application Form. Requests, in relation to allergies, special diets, preference for a non-smoking household or a household without pets, are taken into account when placements are made.

EXTRA NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION
Additional nights before or after the program are subject to availability. Contact your Program Advisor or the nearest WLE Office and advise them of your request for extra nights as early as possible.
ARRIVAL & ACCESS TO ACCOMMODATION
In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide your Program Advisor or the nearest WLE Office with your arrival details: day of arrival, time and place. This information is required
at least 10 days prior to your arrival. For example, arrangements for keys to the studio or apartment are made in advance.
